Broke her own shot put school-record at three consecutive meets, eventually plateauing at 16.19m (53' 1.5"), the second-best mark in Big South history... Overall earned four first-place finishes and one second-place finish in the shot put this season... Named Big South Field Performer of the Week twice...
2019 (Freshman)
Outdoor - Marshall earned Big South Outstanding Field Performer and Freshman of the Year honors for her incredible first year with the Camels...Began her outdoor career with two first-place finishes in shotput (14.39m) and discus (45.66m) at the Wendy's Seahawk Invitational...Claimed another first-place finish in discus (47.54m) at the UNCW Invitational...Set her personal best shotput mark of the outdoor season at 14.59m, the sixth-best mark in Big South history, at the Twilight Qualifier...Secured two first-place finishes at the Big South Championships, with a 14.02m mark in shotput and a personal best 50.21m mark in discus...Also set her personal best hammer throw at 38.56m at the Big South Championships...Set a new personal, school, and Big South record in shotput at the USATF U20 Championships in June with an incredible mark of 16.05, taking home the title at the event...Later competed at the Pan Am U-20 games in Costa Rica, taking bronze in the shotput with a mark of 15.69m...
