Biography
Sophomore (2005-06):
Only Lady Camel to start all 29 games on the season…established a new career-high with 23 points in the second game of the season at UNC Asheville; connected on 7-of-11 from the floor, 3-of-3 from three-point range and 6-of-8 from the free throw line…averaged 10.2 points per game against A-Sun competition…was second on the team averaging 9.9 points a game, a three-point per game increase from her freshman season…finished second in the A-Sun in free throw shooting with a 84.1 percent clip overall and 84.9 percent mark against conference foes…scored in double-figures in 17 games…saw at least 30 minutes of action in 17 games and less than 20 minutes just once (Coastal Carolina—15)…scored at least one point in each game…hit a half-court three pointer at Gardner-Webb…shot six or more free throws eight different times…missed just nine free throws all season…shot 50 percent or better from the floor 10 times and shot 50 -percent or better from three-point range 10 times…scored 10 second half points to help rally the Lady Camels to a last-second victory at North Florida
Freshman (2004-05):
Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team after averaging 6.9 points per game for the season and a team-high 7.5 points per game during A-Sun play…scored in double-figures in three of her first five collegiate games, including 17 at Winthrop…dropped in her career-high 19 points against Belmont, in her eighth and final double-figure scoring performance of the season…led the Lady Camels in scoring in seven games throughout the season…was a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line three times and a perfect 5-5 once…she started in 25 of the 27 games she played in…played all 40 minutes in her collegiate debut against High Point and at Stetson in the second to last game of the season…was named MVP of the team.
Prep:
Prepped at Smithfield-Selma High School…averaged 16.0 points, five assists and three rebounds per game in her final prep campaign ... three-time team MVP (2001-04) ... left Smithfield-Selma as the all-time career scoring leader ... three-time All-Big Eight South honoree .... named the league’s 2003-04 Player of the Year ... member of the NCHSAA/iHigh.com All-State team ... chosen to play in the North Carolina East-West All-Star team along with fellow Lady Camel sophomore Maggie Rich.
