2005:  Tied for team goal-scoring lead (4) as a freshman… Played in all 19 games and started 12 for Atlantic Sun Conference runner-up… Her first career goal was the game-winner in 2-1 victory at Stetson (9/24)… Also notched winner in 3-0 win over Lipscomb (10/1)… Scored in consecutive road games at Gardner-Webb (10/27) and UNC Asheville (10/29)…

 

Prep/ Personal: Amanda Lynne Murphy was selected league MVP as well as the North County News Player of the Year while leading her team to the district finals as a senior… The three-year captain was selected all-section and all-league in sophomore, junior and senior years…Finished senior season with 16 goals and 12 assists for a career total of 36 goals and 20 assists… Played Super-Y League in the summer and participated in the Hudson Valley State Games… Also lettered in field hockey and basketball… Received all-district and all-region honors in field hockey... Member of Math honors society and National Honor Society… Athletic training major… Daughter of James and Linda Murphy, born Feb. 24, 1987.
