2005:  Played in four matches off the bench as a freshman for Atlantic Sun tournament runner-up… Made collegiate debut at home in 3-0 win over Lipscomb (10/1)… Also played against Kennesaw State (10/15), North Florida (10/22) and at UNC Asheville (10/29)…

 

Prep/Personal:  Ellen Ashley Payne a two year letter winner was named team captain in her sophomore season … Led the team in scoring in both her sophomore and freshman seasons earning all-district accolades… Did not play high school soccer in junior or senior year… Played ODP for both North Texas and Oklahoma… Attended the Region II ODP Tournament with the Oklahoma state team…Also Lettered in volleyball… Member of National Honor Society… Mass communication major… Daughter of Ronnie and Jessica Payne… Born Oct. 22, 1986 in Arlington, Texas… Will celebrate her 20th birthday the day after Campbell hosts Gardner-Webb (10/21) in its annual homecoming match…
