Anna Ciarlino, LAT, ATC is in her second year at Campbell in 2020-21, working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Her primary responsibility is working with the Fighting Camel men’s soccer and women’s swimming programs while obtaining her Master of Education in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in exercise science.
From August 2018 to May 2019, Ciarlino worked as an intern athletic trainer at Appalachian State University. She served as the primary athletic trainer for the men’s soccer program and as a preceptor for Appalachian State’s athletic training program.
Ciarlino received her B.S. in athletic training from the University of Toledo in 2018. As an athletic training student, Ciarlino worked with Toledo’s women’s soccer, football and women’s swim teams, completing clinical rotations at two local high schools.
During the summer of 2017, Ciarlino completed an internship at Point O’Pines Camp for Girls in Brant Lake, N.Y. Her responsibilities included providing first aid to all the campers, as well working with a number of physicians to help diagnose and treat injuries.
Ciarlino is a Michigan native and a fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the USWNT. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.
