2024: Appeared in 33 games and made 13 starts in the outfield ... Hit two home runs on the year, at NC State (4/16) and against Charleston (4/28) ... Had a season-high three hits in same game against Charleston ... Earned 13 walks and three hit-by-pitches on the year to go along with 10 RBI. 

2023: Named second-team all-Big South… Appeared in 43 games and made 31 starts… Slashed .331/.471/.504 with 4 HR and 25 RBI… .471 OBP was good for fourth in the Big South… Went 4-6 with 2 HR, 4 RBI and 4 runs scored at Radford on 3/25, all good for tying season highs… Went 4-7 with 3 RBI and 2 doubles in the regular season finale at USC Upstate on 5/20… Went 3-4 with a HR and 4 runs scored at PC on 4/6… Had four consecutive multi-hit games from 4/2-4/6, bringing his average up to .418…

Arizona Western: Spent two seasons at Arizona Western in Yuma, Arizona… Same school that teammate Jarrod Belbin attended… Slashed .371/.519/.590 with 10 doubles, four triples and seven home runs across the two seasons… Named second-team all-conference and second-team all-region…

Prep: Played for the Chesterton High Golden Trojans and coach Jack Campbell… Played travel ball for the Cangelosi Sparks and coach Andrew Massey…

Personal: Full name is Max Thomas Weller… Born Dec. 2, 2001… Parents are Matthew and Jennifer Weller, has two siblings Trent and Sam… Comes from a family of track and field atheltes, with his father, uncle, and cousin all being collegiate poll vaulters, and another cousin throwing javelin in college… Intends to major in mathematics…
