Ranked third on team with 169 kills…hit a season-best .296 (12-4-27) vs. N.C. A&T (10/10)…had five kills in first collegiate match (East Tennessee State, 8/29)…set a season-high in kills three times (12)…posted a season-best seven digs vs. N.C. State (10/21)…recorded three or more blocks in five games…tallied a season-high 13.0 points (12 kills, 1 block) in win over Stetson (10/4)…one of three freshmen to start 20 or more matches (Rusin, Templin)…was also named to the Virginia Tech Hokie Classic All-Tournament Team

Prep:
Prepped at Southeast Guilford High School…finished senior season with 365 kills en route to earning All Tri-County distinction and MVP honors…two-time All-Metro 4A honorable mention for Kathy Ferguson’s Falcons…holds school record for kills in a match with 28 and blocks with 13…played the 2001 season for Millbrook earning All-Cap 6 honorable mention…also played for NC High Performance earning All-Region honors in 2002
