Serving as the Director of Social Media, Josiah Hritsko returns to Campbell for his third year. He works directly with the team to promote student-athletes, grow the program’s reach, and engage with Campbell’s fan base. In his first year, Hritsko nearly doubled Campbell Wrestling’s social media following on Facebook and Instagram adding over 13,000 new fans across all platforms.

In the 2019-20 season, Campbell’s videos earned over five million views, with popular clips garnering over 500,000 individual views. His online videos and graphics attract new Campbell Wrestling fans and potential high school prospects.

At the beginning of the 2021 season, Hritsko organized one of the most-viewed online wrestle-offs in the country and furthered Campbell’s status as the leader in preseason wrestle-off innovation. The virtual Orange & Black Wrestle-Off hosted a fan experience with 10 hours of exclusive access to interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, and preliminary rounds.

Campbell Wrestling soared to new heights online by becoming amongst the top-5 most interacted with social media accounts across all NCAA Wrestling programs (Skullsparks). Hritsko’s posts have been recognized and shared by FloWrestling, USA Wrestling, and other wrestling media outlets.

Outside of Campbell, Hritsko runs one of the most-watched wrestling channels on YouTube, Fanco Wrestling, where he talks about college wrestling news and discussion on a weekly basis. His channel has over 20,000 subscribers and 4.3 million views.

Before coming to Buies Creek, Hritsko worked as the Digital Marketing & Sales Coordinator at Melone Advertising where he built fully responsive websites and created data-driven social media campaigns.

Hritsko graduated early from Penn State University in December 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Smeal College of Business. Prior to Penn State, he was a wrestler on Canon-McMillan High School’s 2012 and 2013 PIAA state championship teams. To promote his team, he later created a popular website, blog, and video series, all of which began his desire to work in the field of wrestling.
