2007-08: Had asuccessful freshman campaign picking up 15 wins on the year with 9 coming indual matches and 4 coming in conference... Saw his first action as a collegiatewrestler against UNCG on 11/26... Picked up his first career decision on 12/13against The Citadel... Had 3 pins on the season... Wrestled two-timeAll-American and defending national champion Josh Glenn of American on 1/22before eventually falling late in an 8-4 decision...  

Prep/Personal: Parker Burns, an Everett High School standout won the 2007Washington State Freestyle Championship during his senior season...During thatundefeated last year, Burns collected multiple honors including First TeamAll-State (Seattle Times), First Team WESCO, the WIAA State Championship, aswell as district and regional championships...He was a district runner-upduring his sophomore and junior seasons...Was a state qualifier in 2005 andtook sixth in the state tournament in 2006...
