Sean Reynolds began working at Campbell University as an assistant athletic trainer for the 2013-2014 school year. His primary responsibility is working with the fighting camel wrestling and tennis programs.
Prior to joining the fighting camels, he worked at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania for three years from 2010-2013. During his time there, his primary responsibilities were with the Lakers women’s volleyball, wrestling, and women’s lacrosse programs. He also served as a preceptor for the CAATE accredited athletic training program, as well as mentored graduate assistant athletic trainers.
Sean earned his Master of Science degree in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida in 2010 after working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Columbia High School (Lake City, FL) and Gainesville High School. While there, he also served as a preceptor for the CAATE accredited athletic training program.
Prior to his graduate studies, Reynolds completed his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. During his undergraduate studies, he had clinical rotations with a wide range of Ohio State teams, as well as rotations at Ohio Dominican University (NCAA II) and Ohio Wesleyan University (NCAA III).
In addition to his required studies, Reynolds also completed internships with the New York Jets (NFL) and the Columbus All Americans (Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League). He has also worked camps at Colgate University and University of California San Diego with the Soccer Plus organization, as well as summer camps in various locations around the country.
