Amy Hice joined Campbell in March 2025 as the Academic Coordinator for Student-Athlete Support for baseball, softball, cross country, and track & field.

Originally from the Great Lakes State, Amy graduated from Central Michigan University in 2015 with a BS in Elementary Education.

For nine years, Hice dedicated herself to teaching mathematics across K-12 public schools, from those foundational elementary years to the complexities of high school. While she cherished the connections and growth she fostered in the classroom, a new chapter beckoned. Her educational journey has taken her through diverse landscapes, teaching in Florida, Tennessee, and now calling North Carolina home.

Throughout her teaching tenure, Hice also coached both middle and high school volleyball teams.

A particularly proud achievement was the opportunity to build the middle school volleyball program at Northeast Middle School in 2019. Driven by a desire to make the sport accessible, she created pathways for talented young women who lacked the resources for club teams. Simultaneously coaching JV at Northeast High School fostered a natural progression for aspiring high school players. By facilitating camps led by club coaches and attended by both middle and high school athletes, Amy cultivated a supportive environment for players of all levels to develop their skills. She led her final team to the district title game in 2022.

Hice embarked on a new personal adventure in 2024, marrying her husband, who is currently stationed at Fort Bragg. Her lively household also includes two huskies, Nami and Ace. In her downtime, Hice enjoys diving into the pages of a good mystery, mastering the art of crochet, and passionately cheering on her beloved Detroit Red Wings.
