Bridges joined Campbell's staff as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach in April 2026. In his role, he will work with the baseball and men's and women's tennis teams.
Prior to coming to Buies Creek, Bridges spent the 2025-26 season at the University of Kentucky as the Olympic Strength and Conditioning Coaching Assistant. In that role, he was responsible for the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for the men's golf team and the baseball redshirts. He was also the lead assistant for the baseball and men's soccer teams.
Bridges worked at Gardner-Webb University from January 2024 to May 2025, first serving as a Professional Intern of Athletic Performance before being named the Director of Player Development/Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the baseball team in January 2025. He was responsible for the strength and conditioning program for the pitchers, led on-field warm-ups prior to practices and games and tracked and evaluated ArmCare data. As an intern, Bridges was directly responsible for the implementation of the strength and conditioning programs for the men's soccer and men's and women's tennis programs while also assisting with the football program.
From January 2023 to December 2023, Bridges worked as a strength and conditioning intern at Cleveland Community College in Shelby, N.C. while also serving as the Yetis's pitching coach. He developed strength and conditioning programs for the baseball, softball and volleyball teams while also developing and monitoring the throwing programs and schedules of the pitchers on the baseball team. In addition, he provided individual and small-group pitching instruction.
Bridges served as the Sports Performance Student Coach at Tusculum University (Tenn.) from Aug.-Dec. 2022, assisting with the training of the football and men's basketball programs.
Bridges earned his associates degree from Cleveland Community College in 2021, then earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science ('24) and masters degree in strength and conditioning ('25) from Gardner-Webb. He competed for a combined three years of NJCAA and NCAA baseball and was a two-year team captain at Cleveland Community College.
Bridges researched and developed a publication article regarding arm health for baseball pitchers, published in the July 2024 issue of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Coach publication. He holds a CPR and First-Aid certification through the American Heart Association and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
