Brent Roark

Brent Roark joined the Campbell Sports Medicine Staff in November 2023 with primary sport oversight with women's basketball and cheerleading.

Before coming to Campbell, Roark worked at Emory & Henry College, a member of the South Atlantic Conference.

During his time at E&H, Roark was promoted to the Head Athletic Trainer role with primary sport oversight for the Football and Men's Basketball teams. As the Head Athletic Trainer, Roark oversaw the health care of all 26 varsity sports while also being the Insurance Coordinator for the entire student body of E&H. Roark also had the opportunity to implement Concussion Return to Play Protocols for each specific sport.

Brent earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Concord University in 2014 and received his Master of Arts in Health Promotion from Concord University in 2019. He also holds an Impact Trained Athletic Trainer (ITAT) certification. Brent is a current member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association, West Virginia Athletic Trainers Association, and Virginia Athletic Trainers Association.
