Stephanie Tighe MS, LAT, ATC joined the Campbell University Sports Medicine Department in the summer of 2025. Her primary responsibilities are providing athletic healthcare for the women’s soccer team, along with the sprinters and jumpers of the track and field team.

Tighe comes to Campbell from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer from the fall of 2023 to the summer of 2025. Her primary coverage during her time at IWU was with the women’s soccer and track and field teams.
Prior to her time at IWU, Tighe spent a year at Eureka College from the fall of 2022 to the summer of 2023 where she worked as the only certified athletic trainer on staff.
From the fall of 2020 until the spring of 2022, Tighe worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Lincoln College, where she provided care for the men’s soccer, men’s and women’s volleyball, track and field, women’s basketball, and softball teams.
Tighe earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Trainer from the University of South Carolina in 2020 and her Master of Science in Kinesiology and Recreation from Illinois State University in 2022.
Tighe, a native of Bluffton, SC, currently resides in Fuquay-Varina.
