BUIES CREEK, N.C. Senior first baseman Ryan Hamme led the
Camels with three RBI, as Campbell defeated North Carolina A&T
11-4 on Saturday afternoon at Taylor Field. With the victory the Camels move to
3-0 on the season.
Zach Johnson and freshman Josh Holskey also had good performances
from the dish for the Camels. Johnson, a junior from Smithfield,
N.C., and Holskey each finished batting 2-of-4, Johnson also drove
in a run.
The Aggies were led by their first baseman Chris Mullins, who
finished the day going 2-for-4, with two RBI. With the loss, the Aggies fall to 0-3
on the season.
Jeff Rydman got the call on the hill for the Camels in Saturday's
game. Rydman pitched three
complete innings, allowing just one hit, while striking out two
Aggie batters. With the
win, Rydman improves to 1-0 on the season.

A&T pitcher Blaine McCraw started the game and pitched 5.2
innings, allowing just four hits. However, the Camels would capitalize
on key Aggie errors and post seven runs during McCraw's outing.
The Camels also got positive innings out of pitchers Josh Fish and
Jeff Hoffman. Fish, a
senior from Bellingham, Wash., pitched two complete innings
allowing just two hits while fanning three. Hoffman, the Ramsey, N.J. product,
pitched one complete inning without allowing a single hit.
Campbell will return to action on Tuesday when they head to
Greensboro, N.C. to face the Aggies of NC A&T, first pitch is
slated for 3 p.m.
