BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's Wednesday night matchup at Elon has been canceled due to the threat of rain.
No makeup date has been scheduled at this time.
Campbell (25-12, 8-7 Big South) defeated Elon (16-18, 7-5 CAA) 12-1 in the pair's first meeting of the season in Buies Creek behind 14 hits, including three from Cole Hallum, who drove in four.
The Camels and the Phoenix will meet one more time this season, with Elon making a return trip to Buies Creek on April 22.
Campbell returns to Jim Perry Stadium for a Big South weekend series against Charleston Southern on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
