BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After a week-long layoff, Campbell returns to the diamond, hosting longtime rival UNC Wilmington at 6:30 p.m. at Jim Perry Stadium.

The Camels (25-17) are looking to rebound after dropping a season high seven in a row. Last week, Campbell suffered an 8-3 loss at No. 18 North Carolina and a 7-4 defeat at home to Elon.
Junior Matt Parrish is hitting .418 over his last 15 games, driving in eight with six runs scored. For the year, Parrish hits .341 with 10 RBI and two doubles.
Steven Leonard owns a .368 average to lead the Camels on the season, adding 26 runs and 19 RBI. Kyle Leady hits .321 with 26 RBI and 32 runs, while Cedric Mullins owns 21 extra base hits with a .314 average. Cole Hallum has tallied 11 home runs with 38 RBI, hitting .289.
Left-hander Matt Meyer owns a 3.86 ERA for the Camels through two appearances.
After winning 10 in a row, UNCW (29-12) has dropped 4-of-5, falling 5-2 to No. 25 Coastal Carolina on Tuesday night. Campbell topped the Seahawks 13-7 in Wilmington in March.
Terence Connelly tops UNCW with a .374 average, scoring 39 runs, while Zach Shields hits .349 with 26 RBI. Gavin Stupienski and Casey Golden have both slugged five home runs, combining for 58 total RBI. Righty Evan Phillips will get the start for UNCW, heading into the contest with a 1-1 record and a 6.83 ERA in nine starts.
The Camels return to Big South play May 1 at Gardner-Webb in the first of a three-game series. Friday's series opener will be featured on ESPN3.
