HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Campbell took a split Sunday at the Hofstra Duals. The Camels topped the host Pride 30-9, while Pennsylvania edged CU 16-15.

Down 13-6 against Penn, Campbell won three straight matches, starting with Jere Heino's 3-1 decision over Patrik Garren. Korbin Meink followed with an 8-2 win, followed by Nathan Boston with a 7-6 edge to put the Camels ahead 15-13 with one match to go.

Jacob Lizak gave the Quakers the win with a 6-5 decision over Jonathan Ryan, clipping Campbell 16-15.
 
CU responded with a 30-9 victory over Hofstra to close the day, taking 7-of-10 matches. The Camels collected bonus points in four of their seven individual wins.
 
Down 3-0, Austin Kraisser's notched a 17-0 technical fall over Ricky Stamm at 157 put CU up 5-3. Two bouts later, Andrew Morgan collected a 13-0 major decision over Anthony Olivieri.
 
Campbell closed the match with back to back pins. At 133, Nathan Boston downed Vinny Vespa (4:16), and Ryan topped Garrett Lambert (4:24) at 141, giving Campbell the 30-9 win.
 
Quentin Perez, Luke Funck and Meink also collected decisions against the Pride.
 
Kraisser, Perez, Meink and Boston all went 2-0 on the day.
 
Campbell heads to the Reno Tournament of Champions on December 17.
