BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell women's basketball tied a program record for single-game three pointers by knocking down 15, cruising to a 93-46 win over the Columbia College Koalas on Sunday afternoon inside Gore Arena.

For the second time under Ronny Fisher, Campbell closes out the nonconference portion of its schedule with an 8-3 record (2016-17); last season, the Camels entered conference play 7-4.

Four Camels reached double-figures in the 47-point win: Shy Tuelle (17), Lauren Carter (16), Taya Bolden (13) and Caroline Bowns (12). Tuelle's total is a career best for the freshman that included a 5-for-9 effort beyond the arc, while Carter's 16 points is also a career high. Bolden finished a rebound shy of a double-double.

Hayley Barber tied a career best with six assists and Alyshia Allison dished out a career-high five assists; Luana Serranho totaled five steals.

The Fighting Camels never trailed, jumping out to a 22-4 lead through the first quarter. Campbell scored 30 points in the second quarter, the most points scored in a single period this season for CU.

As a team, the Camels pulled down a season-high 50 boards, outrebounding the Koalas by 17 (50-33).

Campbell forced 24 turnovers, scoring 19 points off the Koalas' miscues. The Camels also held the advantage in points in the paint (32-22), bench points (46-6) and fast break points (11-2).

The Camels will open Big South play next weekend by hosting Presbyterian on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m.
