Charleston, S.C. - Campbell claimed its fourth and fifth straight win as they defeated The Citadel and College of Charleston in two mid-week matchups.
CU opened play with a 7-0 sweep over the Citadel (6-15, 0-2 SoCon) followed by a 5-2 decision over College of Charleston (5-6).

Dustin Werner and
Lorenz Schwab won their fifth straight doubles match as they defeated Noah Nawabi and Gavin Stewart 7-5 to complete the doubles sweep and improve to 5-1 on the season and remain at the top of the conference with a 2-0 Big South record.
Gerard Sola and
Jonathan O'Neal opened doubles play with a 6-3 win over Roy Hobson and Willy Van Zyl for their second consecutive win.
Lukas Schaefer and
Louis Monterosso won the decisive doubles point, 6-2, as the duo also claimed their second straight win.
Ondrej Labik picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 to open singles play. The win halted a four-match skid for the sophomore transfer.
Gerard Sola won his fourth straight matchup with a 6-4, 6-1 win against Gavin Stewart at No. 4 for the Camels second singles point before
Jonathan O'Neal clinched the match at No. 5 with a 6-1, 6-4 decision over Roy Hobson.
Campbell closed out the sweep with wins from
Lukas Schaefer (6-2, 6-3),
Dustin Werner (5-7, 6-2, 6-3), and
Fernando Clemente (6-4, 6-0).
CU vs College of Charleston
Campbell claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 to open the match and to give the Camels an early 1-0 advantage.
Lorenz Schwab and
Dustin Werner notched their sixth win in a row as a duo with a 6-2 win over Juan Estevarena and Benedikt Henning at No. 1. Since dropping their first matchup as a pair, they have now reeled off six straight wins and lead the team with a 6-1 record.
Jonathan O'Neal and
Gerard Sola secured their third consecutive victory with a 7-5 win at No. 2 over Alec Angradi and Youseff Dabbabi to help secure the doubles point.
Ondrej Labik won his second consecutive matchup with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-4 win at No. 1 while
Dustin Werner and
Gerard Sola both claimed their fifth straight singles. Werner clinched with a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 3 while Sola won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5.
Lukas Schaefer secured his third straight win by defeating Easton Thomas 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 at No. 4 as a part of the Camels four singles points.
Next up
Campbell returns to action Sunday, March 11 as it hosts Navy in a 2:00 p.m. start time. Navy sits at 16-5 overall but is just 1-2 in road games on the season. The Midshipmen have won two consecutive games including a 7-0 and 4-0 sweep over Farleigh Dickenson and Villanova. After Sunday's match, CU hosts the defending Big South Conference champions on Saturday, March 17 with first serve set for 2:00 p.m.
