BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The Fighting Camels will rematch with No. 10 NC State this week, with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 at Jim Perry Stadium. The two teams most recently squared off last Saturday, March 3, as the Wolfpack defeated the Camels 21-4 in Raleigh.

Coming off back-to-back losses to Canisius and No. 10 NC State, the Camels responded with a 17-3 victory over Bowling Green Sunday afternoon, March 4. Campbell notched season-highs in runs (17), hits (16), at-bats (40), RBI (17), doubles (4), triples (2) and total bases (30).
Bryce Myers finished with two homers and a single to lead the Campbell offense, as he was the first Camel with two home runs in a single game since
Cole Hallum cranked two at Liberty on May 6, 2017.
Christian Jones and
Ty Babin were recently honored by the Big South for their efforts on the diamond over the last week. Jones was selected as the conference's Player of the Week, hitting 6-for-16 (.375) with homers in back-to-back games and a Big South-leading .813 slugging percentage for the week. Babin earned Freshman of the Week honors, driving in nine runs including a six-RBI performance in CU's win over Bowling Green.
NC State brings one of the nation's best offenses to the Creek, as the Wolfpack ranks inside the top-10 nationally in batting average (.344), hits (146), home runs (27), on-base percentage (.438), runs (112) and slugging percentage (.605).
Outfielder Brett Kinneman is the reigning back-to-back Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week, as he leads the country with eight home runs on the year. The Wolfpack junior also ranks second nationally in RBI (25), third in hits (24) and fourth in slugging percentage (1.058).

Following the matchup, Campbell will host a three-game weekend set against William & Mary. Friday's series opener is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at Jim Perry Stadium.
