Austin McCullough came off the bench to score 13 points and Campbell rolled to an 86-57 win over Tuskegee Friday night in a men's basketball exhibition game at Gore Arena.
Cory Gensler added 12 points and Jesús Carralero 10 for the Camels, who shot 53 percent from the floor and finished with a 27-3 edge in points off turnovers.
LaDarius Knight chipped in nine points, while
Cedric Henderson, Jr.,
Noah Saunders and
Messiah Thompson all finished with eight.
Kaleb Morton led the Division II Golden Tigers with 13 points, including 3-of-6 from 3-point distance, and James Eads had 12 points.
Campbell used a 23-9 run to build a double-digit advantage and led 44-26 at the break. The Camels lead never dropped below 21 for the final 15:33 of the contest and reached as many as 29.
Gensler finished 4-of-5 from the field, made all three of his triples, and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. McCullough scored 12 of his 13 points in the first period on four treys.
The Camels knocked down 13-of-28 threes (.464) while limiting the visitors to 32 percent (18-57) shooting overall. Campbell had only eight turnovers, outscored Tuskegee 30-16 in the paint, and blocked nine shots.
