TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Amon Kemboi and
Athanas Kioko earned All-American honors as the duo wrapped up competition for the season at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.

Virginia Tech's Peter Seufer led the majority of the race before relinquishing his lead towards the 8K split as Iowa State's Edwin Kurgat closed in and took over the lead. Kurgat would eventually extend his lead on the rest of the pack through the final 1K, claiming the individual title.
BYU claimed the team national title, finishing ahead of Colorado and Northern Arizona.
Kemboi is now tied with former Campbell runner
Lawrence Kipkoech for the most cross country All-American honors in program history.
