CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – The Campbell University men's and women's cross country programs closed the 2025 season Friday at the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Virginia at Panorama Farms.
The trip marked Campbell's first appearance at the NCAA Southeast Regional since 2022, when
Dorcus Ewoi placed 23rd overall. It was also the program's first regional showing since joining the CAA and the first appearance by a men's runner since 2021.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Campbell placed 31st out of 36 teams with 915 points. Junior
Emily Pierce led the Camels with a 127th-place finish in 21:57.0, followed by freshman
Delaney Horton, who took 172nd in 22:39.5. Sophomore
Emelyn Lacour finished 193rd in 23:01.2, while sophomore
Abby Reutinger crossed 217th in 23:36.1. Sophomore
Mary Ella Bichey rounded out the group with a 233rd-place finish in 24:16.4.
MEN'S RECAP
Isaiah Martine represented the men's program in his collegiate 10K debut. He placed 131st overall in 32:35.0, a time that ranks 17th all-time in program history.
