Streaking Camels set for semifinal vs Radford

Campbell has won eight in a row and has not lost in nine straight

BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Winners of eight straight, No. 2 seeded Campbell travels to Matthews, N.C. for its sixth straight appearance in the Big South Conference Semifinals. Campbell will square off against No. 3 seeded Radford at 7:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: Elyssa Nowowieski netted the game-winner in double overtime to lift Campbell past Presbyteri- an 3-2 Saturday night at Eakes Athletics Complex in the Big South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.

In the 105th minute, Alexa Genas played the ball to Nowowieski in the box where she finished with her right foot to the upper 90. The rookie's goal marked her fourth of the season.

Alexa Genas equalized in the 68th minute when she took the feed on the corner kick from Amber Liston and met the cross with her head for her 13th goal of the season.

Reaghan Duval picked up her eighth win of the season by allowing two goals to pair with one save over 110 minutes of action.

ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS: Headlined by Alexa Genas being named the Attacking Player of the Year, a program-record seven Campbell players have received Big South All-Conference honors.

Genas, along with senior Katie Lockwood, represent the Camels on the First Team All-Conference list followed
by a trio of Camels on the second team in defenders Delaney Baumbick and Callie Beckwith as well as forward Rosie O'Neal. Forward Jessica Donald and midfielder Elyssa Nowowieski round out the group as a member of the honorable mention team with Donald also being named to the All-Academic team.

GENAS' BIG SOUTH TOP 10 WATCHLISTS: Senior forward Alexa Genas now sits fith on the Big South all-time career goals list with 45. She also sits tied for first in league history for PK goals with seven. She now has 109 ca- reer points to become just the third player in program history to surpass 100 career points. Genas is one goal shy of tying former Campbell forward Ashley Clark for the second most goals scored in program history. Genas ranks second in the nation in game winning goals (7), 5th in shots on goal per game (2.61), 7th in total points (36), 8th in shots per game (4.89), 15th in points per game (1.94), 10th in shots per game (4.82), 15th in total assists (10), 18th in assists per game (0.56), and 19th in total goals (13).

DONALD AND CAMELS AMONG NATIONS LEADERS: Sophomore Jessica Donald's nine assists on the sea- son ranks 23th in the nation among all Division I NCAA Soccer players while her 0.50 assist per game mark ranks 30th. The Tully, N.Y. native most recently dished out an assist against CSU. Donald holds the second highest mark in assists in the league.

As a squad Campbell ranks 5th in the nation in total assists (46) while ranking 6th in assists per game (2.72) and corner kicks per game (7.44), 9th in points per game (7.83), 10th in scoring offense (2.56), 11th in total points (141) and goals (46), 7th in shots per game (19), and 10th in shots on goal per game (8.83).

LEAGUE LEADERS: As a squad, Campbell leads the Big South in 10 statistical categories. (See page 10)

CAMELS TOP HAMPTON, CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON: Katie Lockwood tallied six points and Campbell topped Hampton 5-1 to close out the regular season at Eakes Athletics Complex.

Lockwood dished out three assists and scored one of her own. She scored her own goal in the 50th minute when she fired from 30 yards out and bounced it off the post and in for her ninth goal of the season.

Campbell set a single game season high in shots (29), shots on goal (15) and corner kicks (12).

CAMELS vs HIGHLANDERS: Radford leads the all-time series 8-9-1. Campbell edged Radford 1-0 earlier this season thanks to the game-winning goal from Katie Lockwood.
