BUIES CREEK, N.C. – With victories in four of the last five games, Campbell returns home Saturday to host Longwood in a 2 p.m. tip-off at Gore Arena.
Chris Clemons' buzzer beater capped an 8-0 run over the last 19.2 seconds Wednesday and lifted the Camels (12-9, 5-2) to a 68-67 win at Big South leader Radford. The Highlanders led by 15 with 9:05 remaining, but missed four free throws to set up Clemons' late heroics.

Cory Gensler and
Andrew Eudy buried key 3-pointers in the last 1:14 and Clemons launched his 4th career game-winning bucket at the buzzer.
Ja'Cor Nelson pulled down a career-best 9 rebounds, Gensler finished with 9 points on a trio of threes and Eudy added 7 assists for the Camels, who had only 2 turnovers in the final period.
Under the direction of 1st-year head coach Griff Aldrich, Longwood (13-11, 3-6) already has six more wins than the Lancers compiled in 2017-18. However, Longwood has dropped 4 of its last 5, including Wednesday's 96-83 setback against Hampton in Farmville. Shabooty Phillips scored 25 points and JaShaun Smith added 20 for the Lancers, but Hampton shot 58 percent from the floor and led by as many as 23.
- Chris Clemons now stands 15th on the NCAA Division I all-time scoring list with 2,836 points in 118 career outings. He leads the nation in scoring (28.8 ppg) and has extended his double-figure scoring streak to 103 games, the longest among all active players and fourth-best in D1 history.
- Longwood is just 4 wins shy of matching the program's Division I record for victories in a season (17), which the Lancers reached in 2008-09 as a D1 independent.

- The late Jerome Kersey, a 17-year (1984-2001) NBA veteran, was a two-time Division II All-American at Longwood from 1980-84. He made two trips to the NBA finals with the Portland Trail Blazers (1990, 1992) and won an NBA title as a member of the 1999 San Antonio Spurs.
- Chris Clemons enters Saturday's game ranked 15th all-time among D1 scoring leaders, 14 points shy of No.-14 Larry Bird of Indiana State (2850 from 1976-79). He is 36 points shy of No.-13 Tyler Hansbrough, who scored 2872 points in his North Carolina career from 2005-09).
