BUIES CREEK, NC ­- Haley Hutchins pitched a one hit shutout as Campbell blanked La Salle 6-0 Sunday night at Amanda Littlejohn Stadium.
 
Cassie Wancheck (one-for-three, 1 RBI, 1 run) belted a home run while Bri Bryant, Megan Mozingo, Kayla Fredendall and Kynadi Tipler each drove in a run for the Camels (4-9).
 
Mack Bernhard produced the Explorers (1-1) only base knock of the night with a single through the right side in the fifth inning before being retired on a fielder's choice.
 
Haley Hutchins (2-5) went the distance and faced just two batters over the minimum. She allowed just one base hit while only walking one and striking out three.
 
Cailey Joyce (0-1) allowed six hits – three earned – across 10 hits while striking out three over 6.0 complete.
 
Bri Bryant (two-for-four, 1 RBI, 2 run) scored the first of two runs in the opening frame on a passed ball followed by Megan Mozingo (two-for-four, 1 RBI, 1 run) scored on a wild pitch.
 
Wancheck added a run in the second when she launched her second home run of the season over the left field wall to push the Campbell lead to 3-0.
 
Abby Perryman sent a one out triple to left field to lead off the Campbell fifth before Kayla Fredendall singled through the right side to bring Perryman home.
 
Claudia Ware's two out walk started the Campbell sixth before Bri Bryant roped an RBI double to left center to bring home Ware from first. Megan Mozingo then reached on a fielding error which scored Bryant for the final run of the contest.

Campbell returns to action tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. against Fairfield.
