Annie Pazulski paces the Camels on the season with 25 points on 11 goals and 14 assists, while
Melissa Placek has punched in a team-best 15 goals.
Ellie Allen and
Laura Will add 13 goals apiece for Campbell, while
Julia Markey has notched 18 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.
Amanda Chasin adds 19 ground balls with nine caused turnovers, with
Lexie Patton recording 70 saves with 19 ground balls.
The Camels are coming off an 18-7 setback to Mount St. Mary's on Saturday. Tied 5-5 at the half, Mount St. Mary's outscored CU 13-2 in the second half. After being outshot 15-11 in the first, the Mountaineers owned a 27-7 advantage in shots in the second half, also picking up 13 ground balls to Campbell's five in the second.
Allen, Pazulski and
Maggie Dolan all posted two goals apiece for the Camels, with Dolan chipping in an assist for a season-best three points, while
Mackenzie Kolesar registered a goal and a helper.
Chasin collected four ground balls with a caused turnover, while Patton saved six Mountaineers shots. The freshman also gathered two ground balls with a caused turnover.
The Blue Devils, ranked No. 13 in this week's
Inside Lacrosse Poll, are 7-3 on the season following a 17-12 loss at No. 8 Virginia over the weekend. Charlotte North, who tallied four goals and an assist in Duke's setback at Virginia, leads the Blue Devils with 65 points on 49 goals and 16 assists on the season. Olivia Jenner has added 29 goals and 14 helpers, while Callie Humphrey owns 26 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.
The Camels and Blue Devils will be meeting for the third time in the last four seasons, with Duke taking both previous matchups. This is Duke's first trip to Buies Creek in the series.
