Kevin McGeehan and led by league player of the year
Chris Clemons, the Camels have won 56 games over the past 3 seasons - the most in a three-year span since Campbell joined NCAA Division I in 1977-78.
Campbell's 12 league wins are the team's most in conference play since the Camels re-joined the Big South in 2011-12 and the highest total since the 2010 team finished 14-6 to share the regular season title in the Atlantic Sun.
Hampton defeated 9th seed Longwood 77-71 Tuesday to advance to the quarterfinals. Jermaine Marrow scored 28 points (16-16 FTs) and dealt 6 assists, while Greg Heckstall added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Pirates, who made 30-of-32 from the line and won their fifth game in a row.

Andrew Eudy added 19 for the Camels in a game that included 7 ties and 5 lead changes over the last 10:23.
Jordan Whitfield's free throws with 4.6 seconds remaining and his strip of Travis Fields in the final second provided the winning margin.
