BUIES CREEK, N.C. ­- Kynadi Tipler went 2-for-3 on the day against her old squad but No. 10 Louisiana topped Campbell 3-0 Monday evening at Amanda Littlejohn Stadium.
 
Louisiana (38-4) used a trio of one run frame to top the Camels (19-25).
 
Keeli Milligan (3-for-4, 1 run) was only retired once and scored the game opening run in the first frame.
 
Milligan singled beat out an infield single to third before she swiped second. One out later she took third before a sacrifice fly scored her.
 
Carrie Boswell (9-0) picked up the win after going 5.1 innings where she allowed just three hits while walking two and striking out one.
 
Alison Deville recorded her first save of the season by coming in to toss the final frame where she struck out two of the final three batters.
 
Megan Richards was dealt the loss but went the distance where she allowed three runs – all earned – while striking out four and walking none.
 
Louisiana added another run in the third when Sarah Hudek stole home on an attempt to throw the runner out at second on a double steal with two down.
 
Hudek later drove in the final run of the day in the seventh with an RBI single to center which scored the final run.
 
Campbell was able to put multiple runners on throughout the game but stranded six through the seven inning contest.
 
Campbell returns to action on Wednesday to host North Carolina at 6:00 p.m
