Christa Hall drove in two runs as the Camels fell to North Carolina 7-2 Wednesday night.
The Camels tallied eight miscues in the field which allowed the Tar Heels to convert.
North Carolina (27-14) posted three runs in the opening frame. An throwing error in the first allowed the Tar Heel runner to come into score from second. Later, a passed ball allowed the second run of the frame to score from first before a sacrifice fly score the final run.
The Tar Heels added another three run frame in the fourth before tacking on one more in the fifth.
Hannah George (10-4) picked up the win by going the distance where she allowed just two runs - both earned - on seven hits while striking out six and walking three.
Megan Richards (12-10) suffered the loss across 4.0 innings where she allowed six runs - three earned - on five hits while punching out two.

Claudia Ware singled to first base to start the half inning before
Morgan Rios walked to put runners on first and second. One batter later,
Christa Hall tripled to the right center gap to plate both runners and to cut the lead to 7-2.
Campbell returns to action this weekend with a conference series at Presbyterian. Action is set to begin with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 1:00 p.m. before the final game of the three game set on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
