FARMVILLE, VA. – Longwood punched in four of the game's last five goals to hold off visiting Campbell 13-10 Wednesday at Burger Jackson Field.
Longwood moved to 7-8 on the season and 4-1 in Big South games with its fourth-straight win, while fell to 5-10 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
Down 9-4 after six straight Lancer goals, including four to start the second half, Campbell stormed back with five consecutive scores, including two from freshman
Laura Will, to knot the game at 9-9 with 15:56 remaining.
Longwood, however, held CU to a single goal over the remainder of the day, closing on a 4-1 spurt to earn the 13-10 win. Dana Joss factored in three of those four scores, netting two goals and assisting on another.
Joss registered a game-high seven points for the Lancers, scoring three goals with four assists. Emma Johnson added three goals for Longwood, while Lexi Davis picked up three points on two assists and a goal.
Nicole Fordyce and Kaitlyn Luccarelli each scored twice, with Fordyce adding a team-high four ground balls with three caused turnovers. Danielle Burk saved nine shots with three ground balls.

Annie Pazulski collected four assists and two goals.
Melissa Placek added four points on two goals and two assists, tacking on eight draw controls, while
Lexie Patton made 10 saves with a game-high six ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Campbell won the draw control battle 18-6, but committed 21 turnovers and went 0-for-6 on free position tries. Longwood, meanwhile, committed just five second half turnovers, with 15 for the game, hitting 2-of-3 free position attempts, and winning 20 ground balls to CU's 16.
The Camels will close out the regular season on the road at Radford on Saturday, April 20, in a showdown for the fourth and final spot in next week's Big South Championship. The tournament runs April 26-28.
