Hampton jumped to an early 13-5 lead when Marrow knocked down a three with 16:20 left in the opening half, but the Camels outscored the Pirates 20-7 over a 6:20 span to grab a 25-21 edge on Henderson's second-chance lay-in.

McCullough's triple from right of the key with 3.3 seconds left sent the Camels into the dressing room with a 39-35 lead.

Campbell shot 45.5 percent (15-33) from the field in the opening period, but knocked down 7-of-13 (.538) threes. Hampton made 43 percent (13-30) of its first half shots, including 4-of-7 beyond the arc, but was just 5-of-12 (.417) from the stripe.
