KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Campbell swimming concluded the first day of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championship Wednesday night, earning a sixth-place finish in the 800-free relay before a fifth-place finish in the 200-medley relay.
The 800-free comprised of Annie Sanchez, Erica Losey, Sarah Wilson and Colleen Renshaw turned in a time of 7:34.01, earning the Camels 48 team points.
Megan Everritt, Skyler DeWall, Maddie Baiotto and Renshaw combined to swim the 200-medley relay in 1:44.22, which scored 50 points for Campbell.
After the first day of competition, Campbell sits in seventh place in the women's team rankings with 98 points, behind Florida Gulf Coast (230), Liberty (223), Incarnate Word (196), Georgia Southern (125), Gardner-Webb (104) and Howard (102).
Campbell continues action at the CCSA Championships on Thursday with the preliminary rounds scheduled for 10 a.m. The finals are set from 6 p.m.
