RICHMOND, VA. – Richmond outscored visiting Campbell 9-0 in the second half, pulling away for an 18-5 win Wednesday afternoon at Robins Stadium.

Arden Tierney tallied six goals with seven draw controls to lead the Spiders (3-0) over the Camels (0-4). Sam Geiersbach added three goals and three assists, with eight different Spiders netted goals. Richmond held a 20-5 advantage on the draw, also outshooting the Camels 39-21.

Richmond led 9-5 at the half with goals by Lauren Kingsbury and Sophia DiCenso in the final minute of play, ending the game with 11 unanswered scores.

Geiersbach also collected three ground balls, while Marina Miller registered two goals and two assists with three draw controls. Megan Gianforte also stopped 11 Campbell shots in goal.

Sam Carey and Laura Will both scored twice for the Camels, while Ally Heath also notched a goal. Mackenzie Kolesar chipped in an assist, while Rebekah Taylor posted three ground balls and caused two turnovers.

Alex Salim picked up 12 saves with a ground ball, her fourth game of double figure saves in as many outings.

CU returns home on Saturday, hosting East Carolina.
