CLEVELAND, Ohio — On the first and final day of the CSCAA National Invitational Championship (NIC) Thursday night, Campbell seniors Maddie Baiotto and Megan Everritt posted top-20 finishes in the 50 fly and 50 back finals, respectively, and the 200 free relay squad took 21st place in the finals.
Following Thursday's action, the remainder of the CSCAA NIC was canceled due to the ongoing concerns related to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Baiotto swam a 25.14 in the 50 fly B-finals, tying for 15th place overall, while Everritt posted a time of 26.51 in the 50 back B-finals, finishing in 19th place overall. In their respective preliminary rounds, Baiotto turned in a time of 25.27 before Everritt earned a time of 26.11.
Freshman Colleen Renshaw competed in the 50 free prelims, just missing the finals cut with a 26th-place finish in 23.65.
Renshaw, Baiotto, Erica Losey and Everritt collectively swam a mark of 1:36.38 in the 200 free relay finals, finishing in 21st place.
