BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell and Appalachian State have agreed to terms on a September 26 football game at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone, N.C.
The game is the second date on the Camels revised 2020 football schedule, joining the previously announced contest at Georgia Southern on September 12. Both squads are members of the Football Bowl Subdivision's Sun Belt Conference.
This will mark the second meeting between the two North Carolina programs in Campbell's modern era of football (since 2008), with the Camels also making the trip to Boone in 2014.
On Tuesday, the Big South Conference voted to allow up to four nonconference games in the fall at institutional discretion, after delaying its fall sports seasons with the intent of playing in the spring.
