Camels host tri-meet Saturday

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell returns to the pool tomorrow for its first tri-meet of the season, hosting UNC Asheville and UNCW and the Johnson Aquatic Center. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

The Camels will enter the weekend 1-2 so far this season and coming off a win over ECU on Oct. 8. UNC Asheville brings a 3-0 record, while UNCW is 1-1 this season. This will be the first tri-meet this year for all three teams.

Annie Sanchez brought home the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week following the meet against ECU. Sanchez swam in three events and took first place in all three. She anchored both the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams, and took first individually in the 200 free.

Campbell won its only tri-meet of last season, grabbing the top spot over UNCA and Liberty at the Liberty Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.
