ORANGEBURG, S.C. - Taya Bolden and Luana Serranho each scored 15 points as Campbell defeated South Carolina State 67-46 Wednesday night at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Head coach Ronny Fisher picked up his 100th win at Campbell.
Bolden added 10 boards completing her third double-double this season for the Camels (4-3), who picked up their first road win.
Trinity Klock had 13 points and nine rebounds for South Carolina State (0-7) who shot 24 percent (14-58) from the field.
Campbell led 19-8 at the end of the first quarter behind 11 points from Bolden and six from Faith Price. Leading 39-20 at intermission, the Camels would narrowly outscore the Bulldogs 28-26 to close out the game.
Price finished with 12 points and Shy Tuelle 11 to round out Campbell's double-figure scorers.
Tuelle surpassed the 900 point mark midway through the 2nd quarter and now stands at 907 total points in her career. She also moved into a tie with former standout Summer Price (2014-18) with 168 career three-pointers after making two against the Bulldogs.
The Big South's active win leader with 197 career victories, Fisher owns a 100-56 (.641) record with the Camels since taking over the lead job before the 2016-17 season.
The Camels return to action Monday hosting Western Carolina at 7:00 p.m. inside Gore Arena.
