BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell University Health and Safety Task Force has approved the following updates to the attendance policy at on-campus athletics events, effective March 1, 2021. This policy will be in effect until further notice.
Previously closed to spectators, a limited number of Campbell students and faculty/staff will be allowed at indoor sporting events, including Fighting Camel men's and women's basketball games, as well as volleyball matches.
All preregistered students and faculty/staff must enter through front doors of Pope Convocation Center and sit in their assigned seats. Doors will open one hour prior to start of each event.
Outdoor events, previously limited to Campbell students and faculty/staff only, will also expand to allow parents of participating Campbell student-athletes. The policy does not include children, extended family members or visiting team guests.
All parents must be preregistered through their student-athlete, and present a valid ID for entry. Students and faculty/staff will continue to be admitted at outdoor events, all preregistering through GoCamels.com.
The outdoor attendance policy applies to Fighting Camel baseball, lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, and softball. This policy will also apply to the spring football game on March 13.
Preregistration is required for admittance at all events, with links available on each sport's schedule page at GoCamels.com. No one will be admitted without reserving a seat and presenting a valid Campbell ID.
Fans will be required to wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols at all events, as dictated by
Campbell University policy.
Over 70 events will be streamed via ESPN+ or audio only on GoCamels.com through May. Links to audio and video streams will be available at GoCamels.com and through each sports social media.
