DAVIDSON, N.C. – Three tightly contested doubles matches proved to be the difference Saturday as Davidson defeated Campbell 4-3 at the Knobloch Indoor Tennis Center.
The Wildcats (1-3) won a pair of 7-5 decisions and a tiebreaker to claim the doubles point. Davidson and the visiting Camels split the six singles contests.

Benjamin Maes won in singles play for the Camels (0-2), but Davidson won at the third, fifth and sixth positions to earn the decisive points.
Campbell returns to action Feb. 17 when the Camels host NC Central at 2:30 p.m.
