COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS - #25/#19 Tennessee dominated the Camels from start to the game's early finish after five innings, 14-0 today in Campbell's final game in the Reveille Classic.
The Camels end the classic with a season record of 5-8, while the Volunteers improved to 17-1.
The nationally-ranked Volunteers jumped out to an early lead posting eight runs in the first inning and did not look back, scoring in every inning except the final frame.
Tennessee's offensive explosion was led by right fielder Amanda Ayala, third baseman Chelsea Seggern, and left fielder Cailin Hannon who all put up two RBIs during the game.
Pitcher Ashley Rogers (8-1), got credit for the win with no hits or runs allowed, striking out eight in three innings of work.
Campbell's
Noemi Cortez got the Camels only hit of the game off reliever Samantha Bender, with a single to right field in the bottom of the fifth.
Georgeanna Barefoot (3-2), took the loss for the Camels giving up seven runs off three hits, getting one out before being pulled in the first inning.

The Camels will return to action at the Green & White Classic (Mar. 13-14) hosted by Charlotte University, where they will face Syracuse, College of Charleston, and Charlotte.
