BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will be well represented this weekend at the 2021 United World Wrestling Junior and Senior Nationals, with nine Camels set to compete on Saturday, May 1 at the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.
Three 2021 Southern Conference All-Freshman Team honorees will be in action, including Campbell's 133 pound starter
Gabriel Hixenbaugh, as well as
Levi Hopkins at 197 pounds, and
Justin Rivera, who wrestled at 141 pounds as a rookie in 2021.

Shannon Hanna will also head to Xtream Arena, joined by the trio of
Shane Quick,
Chris Rivera and
Domenic Zaccone, who combined to go 7-1 in unattached action during their first seasons in Buies Creek.
Joziah Fry and
Cole Wilson will also compete from CU.

The Champion in Men's Freestyle and Greco-Roman for the UWW Junior Nationals will represent Team USA at the UWW Junior World Championships in Ufa, Russia on August 16th-22nd. The UWW Junior Nationals will also have qualifying implications for both the Pan-American Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Pan-American Games in Cali, Colombia.
The top 5 place winners for the UWW Senior Nationals at each weight class for each style will earn a spot in the 2021 Senior World Team Trials, which will be announced at a later date. The UWW Senior Nationals will also have qualifying implications for the Pan-American Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
