BUIES CREEK - Campbell women's soccer standouts Jessica Donald and Cazzi Norgren have been named to Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 player lists, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The lists rank the top 100 players and freshmen in the nation.
Donald was selected to the Top 100 player list at No. 98, earning recognition as one of the best players in the country. The All-Conference performer led the Camels in goals (7), game-winning goals (4) and points (17) after starting in all 13 games. The forward also scored game-winning goals in the semifinals and finals of the Big South tournament to help clinch Campbell's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2004.
Norgren was slotted in at No. 39 on the Freshmen Top 100 rankings, earning the highest spot by a freshman in the Big South Conference. The midfielder from Cary, N.C. led the Camels in minutes played this season, scoring twice and assisting on two more goals. Additionally, Norgren was named first team All-Big South and third team All-Southeast by the United Soccer Coaches.
