NOWOWIESKI EARNS NATIONAL AND CONFERENCE HONORS: Junior forward Elyssa Nowowieski was named to TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week and was the Big South's Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring against NC State and Mount St. Mary's. Nowowieski netted the equalizer against NC State in the 53rd minute as Campbell earned a 1-1 (2OT) draw with the Wolfpack. She also scored in the 13th minute in the Camels 4-1 win over Mount St. Mary's on Sunday.

BIG EAST IMPACT TRANSFERS: Campbell's transfers from the Big East Conference - Mary Tierney (DePaul) and Jackie Richards (Xavier) - have made significant impacts this season. Tierney helps maintain the CU backline and ranks second on the team with 272 minutes played while Richards leads the team in shots (8) and has one assist this season.

HEAD COACH SAMAR AZEM Is in her fifth season in charge of the Fighting Camels (60-51-16 overall / 38-26-6 Big South). She guided the Camels to a No. 22 team ranking by Top Drawer Soccer, their first Big South Championship since 1993, and the program's second-ever NCAA Tournament berth during the 2020-21 season.
