BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell and North Carolina Central have agreed to a two-game nonconference football series, set to begin at Barker-Lane Stadium in 2022.

Meeting for the first time, the Camels and Eagles will square off in Buies Creek on October 1, 2022, making the return trip to Durham, just 48 miles away, a season later on September 30, 2023.

The game in 2022 rounds out the Camels' 2022 nonconference schedule, which begins with The Citadel on September 3 at Barker-Lane Stadium, and including road contests at William & Mary (September 10), East Carolina (September 17) and Delaware State (November 19).

The NCCU and North Greenville additions to the 2023 slate also gives CU five nonconference matchups on the books, joining The Citadel (September 9 at Charleston, S.C.), William & Mary (September 16 at Buies Creek) and North Carolina (November 4 at Chapel Hill, N.C.).

Campbell's future nonconference schedules also include dates at Liberty (2024), North Carolina State (2025 and 2028) and Florida (2026).
