KERNERSVILLE, N.C. - Dorcus Ewoi finishes second in the women's race to highlight Campbell at the VertCross Invitational on Friday afternoon.

The Men ran the 8k and Women ran the 6k for the first time this season. Ewoi set a personal record of with a time of 20:51.2. Pace Clark was the first Camel to cross the finish line for the men with a time of 26.46.0. 

High Point's Lindsey Ickes was the only runner who finished ahead of Ewoi with a time of 20.39.2. Campbell's women placed sixth, High Point placed first followed by East Tennessee State and Charleston Southern. 

The ETSU men placed first followed by High Point and Davidson. 

Campbell travels to Farmville, VA in two weeks for the Big South Championships hosted by Longwood on Oct. 29.
