BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Reagan Baiotto's first half hat trick lifted Campbell to a 3-0 win over USC Upstate to secure sole possession of first place atop the Big South table, Saturday night at Eakes Athletics Complex.

Campbell (9-3-3, 5-0-2) improves its unbeaten streak to 11 games while USC Upstate (7-4-3, 5-2) drops its second conference match of the season.

With two games remaining, Campbell holds the top spot in the conference standings with 17 points, followed by the Spartans with 15 and both Radford and Gardner-Webb with 13 points each.

Baiotto scored her first goal of the evening in the 25th minute, receiving a cross from Elyssa Nowowieski and hitting it off the right post and across the goal line. She added her second goal in the 29th minute as she knocked in another cross from Nowowieski.

The sophomore capped first half off by heading in her third goal after Jessica Donald's shot deflected off the crossbar in the 37th minute.

The Spartans' best chance came in the 74th minute as Audrey Baer's shot off a corner kick went wide right. Upstate's Lauren Darbo added a shot from deep in the 75th minute that was easily corralled by Sierra Vance in goal.

The Camels outshot Upstate 16-5, allowing just three shots on goal for the team's sixth shutout of the season.

Campbell takes a mid-week break for heading to UNC Asheville on Saturday, October 22 for its final road game of the regular season.
