LAS CRUCES, N.M. –
Isabella Hahne tied for 11th individually and Campbell finished eighth on the team leader board after Wednesday's final round of the Golf Iconic Classic at the NMSU Golf Course.
A freshman from Kungsbacka, Sweden, Hahne (69-73-75—217) posted a second-straight top-15 finish to start her collegiate career.
Pepperdine was 4-under on the day and claimed team honors (284-291-284—859), four shots ahead of host New Mexico State (294-280-289—863). Campbell finished with an 889 total (290-298-301) over the 54-hole event.
Sarah Bell of Oral Roberts won individual honors at 8-under par (71-67-70—208). Only nine golfers in the 82-player field finished in red numbers.
Tomita Arejola finished in a tie for 39th place (69-78-77—224), while
Taylah Ellems tied for 44th (78-72-76--226).
Sanna Lundmark (74-75-79—228) and
Izabella Grimbrandt (78-78-73—229) tied for 49th and 54th, respectively.
Campbell continues its season Oct. 17-19 at The Southern, hosted by Georgia Southern at The Savannah Golf Club.
