Four different Camels score, CU records fifth shutout of the season

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Four different players scored to lead Campbell to a 4-0 win over Presbyterian on Friday night at Eakes Athletics Complex.

Campbell (7-3-3, 3-0-2) improves its unbeaten streak to nine games and remains unbeaten in Big South play this season with tonight's result. It also marked the fifth shutout of the season for the Camels.

Jackie Richards converted a penalty kick in the 5th minute to put Campbell (7-3-3, 3-0-2) ahead early. Elyssa Nowowieski doubled the lead after heading in a Richards cross in the 12th minute.

Presbyterian (0-10-3, 0-4-1) had its best chance of the night in the 40th minute as Kali Zmistowski's shot was blocked and deflected to Lindsay Malyszek who fired a long-distance shot just wide of the goal.

The Camels out-shot the Blue Hose 8-3 in the opening half and had 62% of the possession before the break.

Amber Liston added a goal following the intermission on an assist by Jessica Donald in the 47th minute. Olivia Neal tallied the final goal of the evening after firing on goal from outside the box.

CU held an 18-6 edge on shots, including a 9-1 mark for shots on goal, and had six corners to one for Presbyterian.
